Cider Pressing with Kwiaht

Enjoy fresh apple cider from heritage trees on the Village Green during our hands-on cider pressing on Saturday, October 17th from 12:30-2:30pm. This free, family-friendly event is a fun way to taste heritage history. NOTE: Bring your own bottle or jar for cider!
- Sample heritage and unique seedling apples with Kwiaht botanist Madrona Murphy
- Get your mystery apples ID’ed by expert Lori Brakken (bring 6 sample apples and a leafy branch)
- Learn how Kwiaht is finding and sharing rare or “lost” apple cultivars in the islands
