Fourth of July Parade

In a long-held island tradition, Orcas Island Historical Museums will be represented in the annual 4th of July Parade. Come out to march with us, celebrate on the Village Green, or stop by the Museum to learn something new.

2026 Theme: Among the Wildflowers

Photo: The Grand Marshals of the 4th of July parade in 1978 were members of the Willis family riding in a wagon owned by Jack Helsell and pulled by his team of Clydesdale horses. His daughter is the driver of the team. Seated next to her is John Willis. Riding in the wagon are Culver and Lucile Willis, Jane Barfoot-Hodde, and David and Mary Fox.
